What the item is
Articles, variants and component relationships establish what a record relates to.
Floonexa connects structured product data with material, supplier, production and Shipment evidence through explicit provenance—so fashion traceability is built from real operational context rather than reconstructed after the fact.
Request a DemoExplore Fashion Supply Chain ManagementUseful fashion traceability depends on relationships between a product, material or component, supplier, process, operational event and the evidence that describes them. Floonexa keeps that context connected rather than treating traceability as a separate spreadsheet.
Articles, variants and component relationships establish what a record relates to.
Production and logistics activity contribute context where relevant.
Source, actor or system, time and relationship make evidence meaningful.
Product master data provides the product context. Production execution and Shipment activity can contribute operational evidence. Each domain retains its own responsibility while their relationships support traceability.
Materials, trims and BOM relationships can participate in traceability when their connection to the relevant product is explicit.
Explore Product Data ManagementSupplier information becomes meaningful for traceability when tied to the relevant product, material or component, Workflow or process, and operational evidence.
This supports context without claiming supplier qualification or automatic verification.
Explore Supplier ManagementProvenance is the context that helps a team understand an evidence record rather than merely see a value.
Keep the source of the information legible.
Make clear who—or what system—created the record.
Retain the timing of the evidence or capture.
Relate evidence to the relevant product, material or process.
Live product data can evolve. Existing Workflow and logistics evidence preserves the context in which execution occurred, rather than silently changing to match today’s product master.
Article, BOM, material, trim and variant data can be corrected and refined through product-data decisions.
Workflow snapshots and historical records remain legible in the context that informed the work.
Workflow and Gantt execution can contribute context about tasks, milestones, execution state, blockers and historical outcomes. That does not mean every task automatically becomes authoritative traceability evidence.
Shipment-related documentation, tracking context, origin and destination, and logistics events can contribute when provenance is explicit. Shipment remains the authoritative source of logistics lifecycle truth.
Cancelled, rejected, replaced and retired or non-applicable work may leave legitimate historical evidence. Those states do not mean successful completion; they should not erase context.
Keep current work distinct and actionable. Cancelled or replaced activity must not appear as though it can still progress.
Retain legitimate events, relationships and outcomes without turning cancellation or replacement into completion.
Metadata can be useful. Evidence can be useful. But authoritative evidence requires the provenance and context appropriate to its use.
When separately activated, Digital Product Passport can consume canonical product data and traceability evidence. Traceability remains useful beyond DPP, and DPP does not define the whole Floonexa product architecture.
See the supporting evidence available to the operation.
Keep source, actor or system and relationship legible.
Retain relationships as product data and operational state change.
It is the ability to relate product, material or component, supplier and operational information to evidence of relevant events and relationships over time.
Floonexa connects product data with production and Shipment context through explicit provenance, while keeping product master, Workflow execution and logistics lifecycle responsibilities distinct.
Provenance records the source, actor or system, time and relationship to the relevant product, material or process.
No. Traceability depends on the quality and provenance of available evidence; recorded metadata is not automatically authoritative evidence.
Yes, when relevant operational evidence is preserved with context. Not every task is automatically authoritative traceability evidence.
Yes, when logistics evidence is linked with provenance. Shipment remains authoritative for logistics lifecycle truth.
No. DPP is separately activatable and may consume traceability evidence when relevant.
No. Floonexa focuses on a structured product and operational evidence model with explicit provenance.
Connect product context, operational evidence, provenance and preserved history in one fashion supply-chain operating model.
